History
Tokyo Optical introduced the C Simlar around 1947. The C denotes coating. This generation retained the early aperture scale and 50mm engraving, and was replaced when the prefix was dropped around 1951.
Handling
Minimum focus is approximately 3.5 ft, or 1.07 m. The collapsible chrome barrel accepts A36 clamp-on accessories and retracts for compact transport.
Compatibility
This is a native Leica thread mount lens with rangefinder coupling, made for Leotax cameras and suitable for compatible LTM rangefinder bodies.
