I read a lot of other photography sites, and a few of them are good enough that I would rather send you there than try to repeat what they already do well. This page is where I keep those.

Macfilos
Macfilos has been publishing since 2008. It is run as a non-profit by a small group of enthusiasts with Mike Evans as editor, and it covers Leica in depth alongside plenty of other cameras. The writing is personal and takes its time, which is rarer than it should be.
Jörg-Peter Rau's series on M-mount gear that is not Leica. Voigtländer, Zeiss, Konica, Minolta, Rollei and Epson, from 15mm to 90mm, tested on film and digital bodies. It runs in English on Macfilos and in German on Messsucherwelt. The link goes to the navigator, which indexes every episode in the series, so it is the right place to start if you are weighing up a third-party M lens and want an honest opinion on it before you buy.
