History

Fuji Photo Film produced this lens during the growth of Japan's Leica-thread rangefinder market. Surviving examples carry the Fujinon L designation and are commonly associated with Leotax and other LTM bodies.

Handling

The black-and-chrome barrel provides conventional manual focus and aperture control. A 50mm finder frame on the camera gives natural composition without a separate accessory finder.

Compatibility

Original examples are rangefinder coupled and use the Leica M39 thread, recorded here as LTM. They also fit Leica M bodies through a suitable LTM-to-M adapter.
