Thypoch Black Friday Sale 2025 - Grab lenses with up to 33% discount!
Update, October 2026: this post covers the 2025 sale. Thypoch's Black Friday 2026 campaign runs from 20 October to 3 December 2026, and the live prices for every Simera, Eureka and Ksana lens are on the Thypoch Black Friday 2026 deal page. Note that the LEICALENSLIST code is paused for the length of the 2026 campaign, so the stacking described below applied to 2025 only.
They've just made an announcement: The Thypoch Black Friday Sale 2025 is live! From October 22nd to December 3, there's up to 33% off on almost all products that Thypoch are selling.
This of course goes for the Simera, Simera-C accessories and the Eureka series. To get to the point quickly, use the code LEICALENSLIST for another 5% off. Yes, those coupons do stack! This makes, for example, a 21mm f/1.4 Simera 816 USD (717 EUR), down from the original price of ±1000 USD (±1050 EUR).
The Thypoch lenses have been getting very good reviews, raved on by YouTubers. I do really appreciate the products they are developing for the Leica M ecosystem, keeping it alive. The Simera lenses do have quite classic rendering, with very smooth background falloff due to the many aperture blades. I'm always a fan of smaller lenses - the size of Simera lenses is reasonable, especially when taking into account the correction that has to happen on bigger apertures like f/1.4.
| Series | Lens | Mount / Finish | Sale price | With code (−5%) | Original | Savings | New savings % |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Simera | 21mm f/1.4 | M mount | $859 | $816.05 | $999 | 14% | 18.31% |
| Simera | 28mm f/1.4 | M mount | $599 | $569.05 | $769 | 22% | 26.00% |
| Simera | 35mm f/1.4 | M mount | $559 | $531.05 | $749 | 25% | 29.10% |
| Simera | 50mm f/1.4 | M mount | $669 | $635.55 | $749 | 11% | 15.15% |
| Simera | 75mm f/1.4 | M mount | $799 | $759.05 | $849 | 6% | 10.59% |
| Eureka | 50mm f/2 | M mount - Aluminium | $449 | $426.55 | $579 | 22% | 26.33% |
| Eureka | 50mm f/2 | M mount - Brass | $699 | $664.05 | $859 | 19% | 22.69% |
If there's something that Thypoch Simera lenses would be very good at, it's shooting portraits and professional photos due to the subtle character but well corrected images. Product or close-up photography would be a bit more difficult due to the 0.45m minimum focus distance of some lenses.
For filmmakers, there's also the Simera-C lenses but the webshop currently sells only a few accessories.
For this year's sale, see the Thypoch Black Friday 2026 deal page. Outside the campaign the LEICALENSLIST code works on Thypoch's store all year, and the Thypoch coupon code page lists every Simera and Eureka lens with its current price after the code.
