The Voigtländer APO-SKOPAR 75mm f/2.8 VM is a compact short-telephoto lens for Leica M-mount.

This is not the kind of 75mm lens that tries to win people over with extreme speed or huge background blur. Instead, it feels more like a very practical Voigtländer lens: small, light, corrected and easy to carry.

The lens weighs only 191g, is around 44mm long, and uses a 43mm filter thread. That makes it very compact for a 75mm M-mount lens. It also focuses down to 0.7m, which is useful for closer portraits and detail shots.

Optically, the APO-SKOPAR uses a 7 elements in 6 groups design, with abnormal partial dispersion glass used to reduce chromatic aberration. So the goal here is clearly clean rendering, good sharpness and less colour fringing, rather than vintage glow or heavy character.
