In future, interested parties will therefore have the choice between the more classic type I look or the somewhat more user-friendly type II.

The versatile VM connection can easily be adapted to other common lens connections, e.g. via Voigtlander near focus VM mount adapter on Sony E, Fuji FX mount and Nikon Z mount cameras.
