The Summilux-M 35 f/1.4 ASPH. delivers outstanding results, whether for detailed landscape shots, high-contrast photos in difficult lighting, or close-up subjects with shallow depth of field. It now features 11 aperture blades instead of 9, which visibly improves the bokeh effect. The minimum focusing distance has been reduced from 70 to 40 cm. For shots up to 70 cm, focus is still adjusted as usual via the rangefinder on Leica M cameras. For the extended focus range between 70 and 40 cm, adjustments can be made using the screen, the Visoflex viewfinder, or the Leica FOTOS app. Finally, the lens hood is now round, directly integrated into the lens, and easily accessible at any time.
