The Summilux-M 35 f/1.4 ASPH. delivers exceptional performance, whether capturing detailed landscapes, high-contrast images in challenging lighting, or close-up shots with a shallow depth of field. It now features 11 aperture blades instead of 9, significantly enhancing the bokeh effect. The minimum focusing distance has been reduced from 70 to 40 cm. For shots up to 70 cm, focus is still adjusted in the usual way using the rangefinder on Leica M cameras. For the extended focusing range between 70 and 40 cm, adjustments can be made via the screen, the Visoflex viewfinder, or the Leica FOTOS app. Lastly, the lens hood is now round, directly integrated into the lens, and easily accessible at all times.
