Condition:
Grading: Exc+++
Exterior: In very good condition. The top and base plates exhibit only faint bright marks and subtle paint scuffs from general handling. The distinctive black chrome finish retains its deep, rich character.
Viewfinder: The viewfinder is very clean, bright and clear.
Mechanics & Performance: All functions—shutter speeds, film advance, rangefinder coupling, and self-time operate with perfect accuracy and smoothness.
Note: This camera features a professionally installed Leica M3 viewfinder, performed by Leica in 2024. This modification creates a highly desirable hybrid: it combines the legendary, high-magnification (0.91x) viewfinder with a single, brilliant 50mm frame line from the iconic M3, with the modern loading system. This unique configuration is particularly appealing to photographers who favour the classic 50mm composition experience without sacrificing quick film load convenience.
