Seller's Description

Leica M3 Double Stroke Chrome with Leica Summicron 50mm f/2 Rigid lens, Circa 1957 — Just CLA’d — EX+/++

Description

A beautifully maintained Leica M3 Double Stroke (Chrome, 1957) paired with a Leica Summicron 50mm f/2 Rigid—both freshly CLA’d (Cleaned, Lubricated & Adjusted) and ready for serious use. This is a classic, mechanically perfect M‑series kit with the smooth feel and precision that made the M3 legendary.

The camera body covering has been professionally replaced, giving it a clean, fresh appearance while preserving the original aesthetic. The Summicron lens has also been CLA’d and is in Good Working Order. The front element shows cleaning marks, typical for this lens generation, but performance remains excellent.

This set includes desirable period accessories: Leica brown leather case, Leica IROOA metal hood, Leica front cap, and a B+W chrome filter.
