M11-P Safari: Pioneering Photography. Once Again
Leica cameras have been on the frontlines of history. The M-series has long been favored by photojournalists and used to capture iconic imagery across the decades. Continuing the tradition of the series is the Leica M11-P. This model takes the contemporary tech and classic design first seen in the M11 and makes some key improvements. It also becomes the world’s first camera to feature Content Authenticity Initiative technology with the aim of bringing authenticity back to digital storytelling.
Safari Edition
Functionally identical to the standard M11-P camera, the M11-P Safari camera distinguishes itself with its striking olive-green paint finish, stylish silver accents, and is part of Leica’s esteemed lineage of Safari cameras dating back to the 1970s.
The olive-green color scheme is both sleek and stylish and is complemented by the silver accents, a subtle silver screw instead of the red dot Leica logo, and a minimal “Leica” script and “Leica Camera Wetzlar Germany” text engraved on the top plate
Professional Upgrades
Leica has consistently developed “P” models of their cameras with tweaks to make them better suited for professionals and photojournalists. The M11-P continues that tradition with an iconic design that eschews the red dot logo for a more discreet profile. It also comes with a few other enhancements:
Unobtrusive no logo design and dark chrome viewfinder
Engraved Leica script on the top cover…
