Leica IIIf Red Dial, Self Timer, 5cm f3.5 Elmar 797939

This Leica IIIf Red Dial 35mm film rangefinder camera body, #797939, is in average cosmetic condition with regular signs of use and normal cosmetic marks. I rate it cosmetically an (8+). The camera is in proper working order; film advances properly, the viewfinder is clear, the shutter is accurate at all speeds, the self-timer functions, and the rangefinder is bright & accurate.

The included Leica 5cm f3.5 Elmar collapsible prime lens, #1010386, is in similar condition, also rated an (8+). The lens extends and retracts properly and the aperture tab is smooth, but the focus ring is extremely stiff, so much so that the lens can begin to unscrew when trying to focus close. The aperture functions properly and the glass is clean and clear with no haze, marks, or fungus. There are a few faint specks of dust inside, but they do not affect image quality. It is for Leica screw mount/thread mount (LTM). No additional accessories are included. Please refer to the photos for details.
