Nippon Kogaku Tokyo Nikkor-SC 50mm f1.4 LTM

Rare to find in LTM, and even more difficult to find with Tokyo inscription on the front. Collectors know!

The LTM version is special as it has a builtin (same as the f2 counterpart) close focus, which allows you to focus up to 45cm.

This particular lens is as mentioned a “Tokyo” version, instead of a “Japan” version. It also has a cool and interesting serial number, and it is from the first batch produced in 1950. This is the immediate successor of the very rare and expensive 50/1.5 version.

The barrel is in great shape, and the glass on this example is in perfect condition. No haze, no cleaning marks or fungus. It comes with a beautiful aluminium rear screw cap, and a black paint aftermarket front cap.
